She has published dozen of articles in leading journals and in festschrifts for linguists, and has written two entries in the Encyclopedia of Hebrew Language and Linguistics . Burstein retired Senior Lecturer at the David Yellin Academic College of Education, where she headed the Hebrew Language Department for fourteen years, and established the Editing Program in the late 1990 s .
