Yossi Goldstein is an Israeli historian and biographer . He is professor at the Ariel University . His research work focuses on Modern Jewish History , the History of Zionism , and the History of the State of Israel . Israel Bartal is Professor of Jewish History , and former Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem ( 2006-2010 ) . Since 2006 he has been the Chair of the Historical Society of Israel .
