Riding the Crest of the Latin American Art Wave

Though many paintings , sculptures , and a videos were on view , it was the quietly inventive work of photographers — digital and otherwise — that depicted life its myriad postures , most interestingly . The narrative work of Paris-born , Argentinaphotographer Luna Paiva , at the Caleria Teresa Anchorena ( Buenos Aires ) , is all about drama . One eye-popping surreal Paiva photograph of a woman manically plucking a chicken pulled me right into the gallery .
