327 | The “Seven Blessings” and the Blessing over the Wine Louis ( Levy ) Ginzberg, in his extensive responsum on kosher and unkosher wines ( New York 1922, pp . 21 - 22 ) further discusses this Yerushalmi text, finding the Genizah reading ( Seridei ha - Yerushalmi, New York 1909, p . 215 line 3 ) : “we , בו ומקדשים and “we betroth with it,” as opposed to , ומארשים בו את הכלה marry them with it . ” However, he remains uncertain whether this is the correct “the bride” is a gloss, and the את הכלה text, and surmises that perhaps the words text should read that one makes a blessing on a fermented wine at Kiddush etc . If this is, indeed, the case, we have here an early gloss in the Yerushalmi . For in Masechet Sofrim 19 : 9, ed .
