It discusses the initial preparations to open the village and the difficulties to manage it . In Deszk there was a particular atmosphere of happiness, forgetting the horrors of the Holocaust . The leaders of the village emphasized Jewish education, including the studies of Jewish history, the history of the land of Israel, and the study of the Hebrew language . Due to such good preparation, graduate members of Deszk attained a successful absorption when they arrived in Israel and became good citizens of the country .
