Featured at the American Folk Art Museum – a unique museum devoted to aesthetic appreciation of traditional folk art and creative expressions of contemporary self - taught artists from the USA and elsewhere – the 29 quilts were made from the colorful British Army uniforms during the Napoleonic wars and during battles fought by the British in South Africa and India .
