"Motti Meller: A New "Place

Hana Kofler Motti Meller was born in Tel Aviv in 1943 . As part of his military service in the IDF's Nahal , his gar'in ( core group ) , Ye'elim , joined Kibbutz Yotvata in Israel's Arava , where he has resided since . In 1968 he returned to the country's center as the kibbutz buyer . In the following years he combined his work with art studies at the Avni Institute in Tel Aviv , where he trained in drawing and composition with Yehezkel Streichman and in sculpture with Moshe Sternschuss . Returning to the kibbutz he was allotted one day a week to engage in art . Over the years he worked in the kibbutz's metal shop and dairy farm , water desalination and construction , and was Yotvata's construction coordinator . At the same time , throughout the years , he sculpted in iron . Meller held solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions , among them at the Kibbutz Art Gallery , Tel Aviv , in the Eilot district , at the Herzliya Museum of Art ( with Yehiel Shemi and Yaacov ...  אל הספר
